POST OFFICE.

GENERAL HOLIDAY

On Monday, the 5th September, the General Post Office and tral Post Office will be open from 8.00 a.m. to Noon, Shuungwa Office will be open from 8.00 a.m. to 10.00 a.m., and the other Offices will be entirely closed.

There will be one collection from the pillar boxes as delivery of ordinary correspondence at 11.80 a.m., and one tered correspondence at 11.00 a.m.

Surcharged air mail letters may be posted in the ordinary posting boxes. They should be clearly marked "By Air Mail" and bear sufficient postage. Insufficiently prepaid letters may be taxed with double the deficiency forwarded by Steamer Service, at the discretion of the Post Office.
