EGYPTIAN PRIME MINISTER'S TOUR

Cairo, To-day.

The Egyptian Premier, Moham- med Machmoud, is expected to ar- rive here on Monday from his, European tour and his Deputy For eign Minister, Jehia, will depart on Saturday for Geneva as the leader of the Egyptian delegation.

The Egyptian Chamber passed the first tax bill yesterday, this deal-: ing with the introduction of the stamp tax.

The discussion was largely con- fined to methods for counteracting“ the import duty imposed by the United States on Egyptian cotton..
