Hankow, To-day... Checked in every direction, the Japanese forces on the south bank of the Yangtze River are blind- ly feeling for a weak point in the Chinese line. Latest military advices from the front state that units of Japanese troops at Kutang, less than 25 kilometres southeast of Kiukiang on the. west shore of Poyang Lake, are now making preparations to push toward Hsingtze, further southeast, and thence turn eastward to cut the Nanchang-Kiukiang Railway at Tehan.
