MR. MALCOLM MACDONALD BROADCASTS APPEAL FOR PALESTINE GOODWILL

London, To-day.

"The British High Commissioner and the British -Military Commander in Palestine are facing a task as difficult as that which has confronted the British authorities in any country since the war, and their co-operation inspires con- fidence," declared Mr. Malcolm MacDonald, Secretary of State for the Colonies, in a broad- cast yesterday evening in which he described his recent visit to Palestine.
