By ELIZABETH MacRAE BOYKIN

There's more than meets the eye comfortable and easy to play. In. in all this talk about the new leisure If there's got to be a lot of juggling as any lady knows who has tried and bother, it's no fun. Plenty of to fit a ping pong table on a small chairs, plenty of ash trays in reach, sun porch or squeeze a badminton game paraphernalia and good lights court in a pocket handkerchief these are the qualifications for an gården:

fall-play-and-no--work game room.

TAKE HEED

If you can apare a room, a base- ment or a verandah for the pur- pose, by all means plan on having a separate game room. We like the idea of linoleum for the floor-- it deadens the sound yet the room is all ready for dancing.Throw

JELLIED BOUILLON

4 cups stock; wèll seasoned. Parsley.

Soak gelatin in cold water five minutes and stir into hot stock un- til dissolved. Pour into a shallow dish or into bouillon cups to chill. and set. Before serving break up. Jelly with a fork or cut into cubes with a knife. Serve in bouillon caps and garnish with sprigs of: parsley. Bouillon cubes may be used to make the stock in pror- tion of five cubes to a quart of water-Edith M. Barber.

rugs can be used over it if desired. Or have a wrestling mat over it or whatever you like, But if a whole room can't be spared, there's sure to be a corner that's free for bridge or backgammon, chess or draughts. Anyway we hope you'll heed these words of warning:

In fixing up a bridge corner, have the bridge furniture contrast slightly-with the other furniture in of the room. Then it adde more accent and charm.

EASY AND QUICK

In painting designs of your own on game room walls, use washpaints, so that if you decide you're not the artist you thought you were, won't be-too-late-to-clean-it-off-and. start over,

In furnishing a recreation don't make the mistake of using all the discarded broken-down, exil- ed furniture from the rest of the house. Because if you do, the play- room will end up being the most forlorn and lonely room in the house instead of the gayest, as it should be.
