The Secretary General of the Fascist Party, Signor Staracè, was elected President of the Congress, and the leader of the German Lab qur Front, Dr. Robert Ley and Mr. Kirby, Los Angeles, were chosen Vice-Presidents.

SIX JAPANESE PLANES SHOT DOWN

The Chinese Aviation Head- quarters in a communique issued to-day confirmed the shooting down of five Japanese pursuit planes and one heavy bomber during a dogfight over Nan- chang yesterday.
Another Japanese bomber, the communique says, was badly damaged. Central News.
