Membership of the Films Coun- cil established under the recently passed. Cinematograph Film Act, of which, as already announced, Sir Frederick Whyte will be Chair-| man, includes-in addition to trade representatives among whom is Mr. John Grierson-Sir Walter Citrine, General Secretary of the Trades Union Congress, Mr. Philip Guedalla, historian and author, who served on the Advisory Committee under the previous Act and Miss Horsbrugh, Conservative Member of Parliament for Dundee.

The total membership is 21 in- cluding the chairman, of which 10 are trade representatives.-British Wireless.
