GENERAL HOLIDAY

On Thursday, the 9th June, the General Post Office, Kowloon Central Post Office anl Sheungwan Branch Post Office will be open from 9.00, n.m. to 11.00 a.m. and the other Branch Post Offices will be entirely closed.

There will be one collection from the pillar boxes, one delivery, of ordin- ary correspondence as on Sundays, and one delivery of registered correspon-

dence at 11.00 a.m.

The Branch Post Offices at Stanley, Tai Po and Un Loong will also have one delivery of ordinary correspondence at 11.00 a.m.

The Money Order Office will be entirely closed.

Air mail letters may be posted in the ordinary posting, boxes. should be clearly marked "By Air Mail" and bear sufficient postage. sufficiently prepaid letters may be taxed with double the deficiency or for- warded by Steamer Service, at the discretion of the Post Office.

Parcel Post Service to Amoy Island is, temporarily suspended. Parcels can be accepted for Kulangsu only.

Postage stamps of the new issue H.M. King George VI in the denomina- tions 5 dollars, 10 dollars will be on sale as from 2nd June, 1938.
