Prague, To-day.
A serious incident is reported to have occurred at the town of Ei- benberg in the district of Graslitz early yesterday morning.
According to a statement issued by the press bureau of the Sudeten German Party a member of the Su- deten Germany Party was assault- ed and fired at by German Com- munists and Social Democrats, re- ceiving grave shot wounds in his abdomen.
All persons who were engaged in the affray have been taken into custody by the police.
Two deputies of the Sudeten Ger- man Party proceeded to the scene: of the incident to allay the excite. ment among the population.

HERR HENLEIN DISCUSSES OUTLOOK FOR SETTLEMENT IN CZECHO-SLOVAKIA
Prague, To-day. The Sudeten German leader, Herr Henlein, in an interview with the correspondent of the Hun- garian paper "Pesti Hirlap,” discussed his fu- ture plans for reaching a settlement of the problem of nationalities in Czecho-Slovakia. Herr Henlein stressed that he would continue to carry on action directed towards defence of the interests of the Sudeten German ethnical group, whose just demand for full parity of rights must receive satisfaction. In so doing he was working for peace by suppression of the causes of intolerable tension.
