On Tuesday, the 24th May, the General Post Office, Kowloon : Central Post Office and all other Branch Post Offices will be open from 8 am to Noon.

There will be one collection from the pillar boxes, ono delivery of ordin- ary correspondence as on-Sundays and one delivery, of, registered correspon··· dence at 11.00 nm.

The Branch Post Offices at Stanley, Taipo and: Un Long will also, have on delivery of ordinary correspondence at 11.00 a.m.

The Money Order Office will be entirely closed.

Postage Stamps of the new issue H.M. King George VI in the denomina- tions 1 cent, 5 cents, and 2 dollars will be on sale as from 24th May.

In order to assist Dealers and others who require considerable quantities of these stamps for “first day covera", aupplies in complete sheets of 120 stamps only will be available at the Chief Accountant's Office, Post Office Building, from 4.80 to 5.00 p.m. on Monday 23rd May, stamps will not be valid for postage until 24th May.
