COMPLETE CONTROL OF JEWISH ECONOMIC ACTIVITY IN GERMANY

Berlin, To-day. "An important step on the road to thoroughgoing regulation of the economic activity of Jews in Germany," is the authoritative description ap- plied to new measures decreed yesterday. The measures impose on Jews the necessity of de- claring the nature and extent of their property in Germany, and enact that authorisation must first be obtained for transference of business and agricultural or forestry undertakings if a Jew is party to the transaction.

TUNGWO RELEASED BY JAPANESE

The Tungwo was released at 15 p.m. yesterday and is ex- pected to arrive in Shanghai this morning, when, the British Consul-General will open an en- quiry regarding the Japanese allegation that a Chinese mem- ber of the crew fired on Japan- ese troops.-Reuter
