Pardons All 'Round
Solve Bath Fight=
Ten Japanese wives in a bath- room, all nude, recently provided an embarassing problem for a tone Tokyo policeman.
The officer was called to quell a free-for-all in one of Tokyo's thou- sands of public bathhot Jes. It seems the melee started between two whose husbands are rival bakers. One "accidentally" sloshed water over the other's elaborate coiffure.
The victim grabbed a small wooden tub and started after the slosher but she slipped on a cake of soap and hit another bather in the eye. The latter grabbed an in- nocent bystander by the hair. The strife spread rapidly.
The male manager rushed into the bathroom attempting to pacify the ladies but they pushed him into to main soaking tub. He scram d out and called the policeman 1-10 restored peace by forcing the nude bathers to bow all around
and say "pardon me.”.
