Every item of news having any direct bearing upon new developments in Anglo-Italian relations is being given full measure of publicity in the British newspapers.
Much notice, for instance, has been taken of the an
nouncement that the Italian Ambassador, Count Grandi, and his wife were among those who attended the Royal reception at Windsor Castle on Thursday. Earl Baldwin, former British Prime Minister, was also present.
Meanwhile, în Rome to-day the Secretary for War, Mr. Leslie Hore- Belisha, will have conversations with various members of the Italian Government and will leave for Lon- don on Sunday morning.

Mr. Leslie Hore-Belisha, the British War Secretary, arrived at Rome from Malta yesterday, and was met at the airport by the Italian Under-Secretary for War, on behalf of the Italian army, while members of the British Em- bassy were also present.
Mr. Hore-Belisha, who will see Signor Mussolini this afternoon,
said "I am happy to arrive in Rome. It is like being in Lon-
