Konoye Hints At New Political Party

- In Japan

Tokyo, To-day.

Prince Fumimaro Konoye, the Japanese Prime Minister, yesterday told newspaper correspon- dents that since February he had been suffer- ing from influenza and tonsilitis and although he was unable to attend Cabinet meetings he had received many political visitors. As regards rumours about his alleged intention to reconstruct the Cabinet and to make a series of changes in the administration of the coun- try's domestic affairs, Prince Konoye remark- ed that all questions. having to do with the China conflict would not be viewed in their en- tirety, and tackled with promptitude and deci- sion.
