Notable Rugby Double CRICKET TOUR
For Heriot's F.P.
(By AIR MAILA
Glasgow, March 28 Stewart's College (F.P.), the Scottish Rugby champions, shed some of their prestige in losing to Heriot's (F.P.) at Goldenacre in their closing match.
Heriot's have thus beaten the champions twice and both times by good margins. The Goldenacre club, who finish as runners-up in the championship, have also won more matches (although having played more), and have scored more points · and conceded fewer than their Inverleith rivals.
Were the tables to be assessed in some other manner, Heriot's (F.P.) might be made to come out on top, but the Goldenacre players left no doubt as to their own attitude, when at the close of a great game they chaired the opposing Captain, J. B. Borthwick, to the pavilion.
An outstanding player in this match was W. R. C. Brydon, the home serum half-back.
