Mr. Harold Porter, Vice-Chair- man of the Shanghai Municipal Council, is still missing, and the police are appealing for informa- tion concerning his movements since noon on March 24.

Mr. Porter was last seen lear- ing the Shanghai Club on the evening of that day. Before his mysterious disappearance he had been suffering from ill-health, and one theory put forward is that he has lost his memory.-Reuter.
