HUNGARY'S UNEASINESS AT ANSCHLUSS: REGENT'S WARNING STATEMENT

Budapest, To-day.

The uneasiness created in Hungary by the Austro- German reunion was the subject of a broad- cast address by the Regent, Admiral Horthy, to the Hungarian people from the Royal Castle last night.

Admiral Horthy emphasised that the union only meant that two friends of Hungary were unit- ed, and he warned agitators that their effort to cause excitement would prove futile.

Public order would be maintained, and anyone trying to upset it would be punished.

POLISH PROTEST IN PRAGUE

Warsaw, Yesterday. The Polish Government has made representations to the Czecho- Slovakian Govt ament regarding anti-Polish activities in Prague, ac- cording to well-informed circles.

The Polish Foreign Office will neither deny nor confirm the re- port, but says that these activities "have had a detrimental effect on Polish-Czech relations." Trans- Ocean.
