has addressed a Note to the Lithuanian Government con- taining terms for settlement of the present dispute.

From Paris comes a mes- sage quoting a report from Kaunas (the Lithuanian capital) that Poland had given Lithuania 48 hours in which to comply with the terms laid down in the Note.

The Note reached the Li- thuanian Government at 10. o'clock last night, and con- tains six demands.

The Lithuanian Cabinet met immediately after re- ceiving the Note.-Reuter.
