The Chief Constable of Canterbury has introduced a scheme to prevent traffic congestion Pamphlets containing a map of the city with garages and car parks marked, are distributed by policemen to motorists stopping in the city. There is also a message from the Chief Constable pointing out that cars cannot be parked in the streets and that if the instructions in the pamphlet are carried out it will held the police considerably.
