CLUB SHOULD WIN The Club should fully extend South China as they have been play- ing good football recently, and, with Wilson and Shaw in the forward line, should collect both points.

FOR the first time in many months the Saturday afternoon League football programme will be featured by five First Division encounters, of which two should provide fairly interesting fare.

The Middlesex Regiment, who are at present at the top of the table, are at home to the Police, who made vast strides since they first met. The Middlesex have several outstanding men, who have So far represented the Army in representative games, and it is these players whom the Police defenders will have to pay special attention.

South China "B" are lying second in the table, one point be- hind the Middlesex, although they have three games in hand, and should find Kowloon not too difficult to tackle following the latter's poor showing against the Middlesex last week, in the Senior Shield, when they went down by 6 goals to 1.

The Club will be strengthened by the inclusion of Sydney Strange, at full-back, and Ken Forrow, in the intermediate line. Both these players have recently returned from leave and are both reported to be in excellent condition.

HALVES STRENGTHENED Forrow's inclusion at centre-half will be a big boon to the Club's de- fence, as they have been very weak in this position this season, while Strange's inclusion, at full-back," should also be welcome. It will be recalled that Strange was one of the outstanding backs last season, and gave some superlative displays to- wards the latter stages or just be- fore he went on leave,

The Club actually visit Caroline Hill where they clash with South China “A”, who have twice suc- cumbed to their European rivals in recent seasons, and, with the Chin- ese in poor form this season, the Club have every chance of repeat ing their success of former years.

St. Joseph's clash with the Sea- forths on the Navy ground, but are not expected to beat the Seaforths, while Eastern should have little difficulty with Kowloon Chinese.
