During the sixth round Preciso landed a succession of heavy right-hand punches flush to the chin. Hough grined in res- ponse to the first three, but col- lapsed after two more. As he sank to the floor Preciso struck Fim again an illegal blow, but accidental and of no great im- portance.
HOUGH HELPLESS
Hough, whose chivalry in the ring has endeared himself to everyone, struggled to his feet after six seconds, still dazed, and tottered towards his oppoñent with outstretched glove. Preciso did not understand. He hit Hough on the chm, and after the referee had told Hongh to box on followed up with another battery of punches, and Hough fell in a heap.
