Melbourne, February 3. THE Australian L.TA, meeting here to-day, chose the Davis Cup team to compete in the American zone next summer, and the women's team to play at Wimbledon this year. The teams

•The four Austraian women tennis players, Mrs. H. C. Hôp- man, Miss D. Stevenson, Miss Nancy Wynne and Miss Thelma Coyne, started from here on Tuesday on a five months tour, most of which will be spent în Europe.

The party will arrive in Eng- land on April 17 and will com- pete almost immediately in the Brighton Tournament, taking part later in the British Hard- court Championships, at Bourne- mouth. The players will parti cipate in carious other tourna- ment in England.
