VARIATIONS OF THE DIAGONAL WALTZ

The Diagonal Waltz is an entrancing dance, deservedly claim- ing a big place in all modern programmes. Now having practiced and mastered the Natural turn and the Change Step-let us learn the other variations and movements.

In our last lesson we started the Natural turn diagonally to the Right Hand Wall and finished it diagonally to the Centre of the room. Then we danced into a Change Step with no turn at all in it, and thus finished in the same direction. We are now ready for the next step
