China Salvation Bonds Campaign Case Hearing
Allegations that plaintiff volunteered his services, that no pro- mise was made of renumeration at any time, and that no permis- sion was given plaintiff to print certain posters were made by Mr. Shou J. Chen, Manager of the Bank of China, at the Supreme Court this morning when the "China Salvation Bonds Campaign Plan" case was resumed before Mr. R. E. Lindsell, Puisne Judge.
The defendants were four prominent local Chinese personalities Sir Shouson Chow, Mr. Kan Tong-po, of the Bank of East Asia, Li Sing-kui; Chairman of the Chinese General Chamber of Com- merce, and Shou J. Chen, of the Bank of China, and plaintiff was Francis Yee.
The first and fourth, defendant en- tered a counter-claim for $385 from plaintiff for breach of duty in author- ising or procuring the printing of 10,-` 000 posters on October 10 last.
