In a little workshop in Glasgow, Mr. Simpson, the owner super- vises the building of model ships that sometimes cost thousands of pounds. They are perfect in detail and workmanship. Very often models will be built to a plan to show a prospective shipowner the kind of jobs he could expect from the shipbuilders. Some of the mo- dels have been made complete with electric lights in the cabin, uphol- stered in green-saloon chairs, less than half an inch high. Photo shows-At work on scale models at the workshop. The smaller model is of the passenger ship Koolama, launched recently. The larger model of the Cargo-passenger ship Prome will be shown at the Empire Exhibition. (Copyright),
