Tokyo Justifies Detention Of Plane In Manchukuo

Tokyo, To-day.

Following the Soviet's decision to suspend the par- cel post service between Japan and the Soviet Union, the Japanese postal authorities have immediately taken steps for directing parcel posts to Europe by other routes than the Siberian Railway.

A joint conference of the Foreign Office and the Ministry of Communications yesterday result- ed in a decision to request the Soviet Govern- ment to explain their decision.
