Nanning, To-day. Japanese planes attacked Kwangsi four times yesterday with military establishments around Nanning and Liuchow as their main targets.

Each time more than ten Japan- ese planes were seen flying over various centres of the province. The city of Nanning was subjected to two raids and about a score of bombs were dropped on the suburbs each occasion.

Wuchow was attacked by five Ja- panese planes, which got no chance to reach their objectives in the face. of steady fire from the Chinese anti- air defence forces. The same planes also put in an appearance over Chulin, where they dropped no bombs-Hua Nan.
