Japan Breaks Away From Church Of England
Tokyo, To-day.
The Episcopalian Church of Japan has decided to break away from the Church of England, as a result of the Archbishop of Canterbury's ad- dress against Japan at the protest meeting in the Albert Hall in London last October.
The Episcopalian Church of Ja- pan has also decided to decline fin- ancial support which hitherto has been received from the United States and England.
This unprecedented action by Ja- pan's 45,000 Episcopalians was cast last October by leaders the Anglican Church in Tokyo follow- ing participation of the Archbishop of Canterbury in the protest rally against "Japanese - aggression in
