A meeting in London of the China Liaison Committee of the Federation of British Industries, including representatives of the China Association and the London, Manchester and Bradford Cham- bers of Commerce, yesterday decided to further communicate with his Majesty's Government urg- ing them to press for early recognition of the prin- ciple claims for damage to British property and in- terests in China, with a view to their being met as early as possible.
