95 PER CENT. POLL IN SOVIET ELECTION

Moscow, To-day.

At least 95 per cent. of the Soviet electorate went to the polls on Sunday, and the great majority voted for the approved list of candidates, according to preliminary election figures.

Voting began as early as 6 o'clock in Moscow, which was in holiday garb, and music was provided at polling booths.

There was only one untoward in- cident, a man being sentenced in Leningrad to seven years' imprison- ment for trying to break up an elec toral meeting with shouts.
