A great Atlantic liner, which will probably prove to be the largest ever built in an English shipyard, is assuming shape at a speed which may create a record for a vessel of her size. At the moment she is merely known as No. 1,029, She is the latest passenger liner being built for the Cunard-White star line, by. Cammell Laird and Co. at Birken- head. The new vessel will be about 750 feet long and may gress about 40,000 tons It is expected that she will be launched next summer and accommodation will be on a highberto unparallel scale, so far as ness and comfort are concerned.
