Equality For All Religions In Germany

Berlin, To-day.

THE aim of Nazi ecclesiastical policy is absolute equality of all religious bodies, declared the Minister for Church Affairs, Herr Kerrl, in a speech in Westphalia yesterday.

If religious communities in Germany were in future to be rendered dependent on financial sacri- fices of their members, this was not to be understood as implying sudden withdrawal of the large subsidies now given them by the State but only as the ultimate aim of a slow and steady development

M Albert Lebrun, President of France, opened the new Le Bourget Airport near Paris on November 12. The new station which will be the finest in the world, is built on the style of a liner, with decks and rails facing the flying field. The frontage measures over 700 feet, and has a depth of 100 feet. In the centre is a conning tower of glass which will control the movements of aircraft by means of radio. Inside the spacious- main hall is a post office, and offices of varions companies operating the air line.” On the upper and lower floors there are lounges and restan- rants, customs, and police office. At the entrance is a large facade on which is carved the coat-of-arms of all the Capitals of the World. Photo shows Workmen fixing the cockade of the air on the facade. Copyright: By Air Mail).
