Sept.. - OCTOBER FIGURES The Imports and Exports Depart ment (Statistical Branch) reports, that the combined values of im ports and exports of merchandise (excluding Treasure) as declared during the month of October, 1937 totalled $95,4 millions (£5.9 mil- lions) as compared with $75.7 mil- lions)-4.7 millions) in October, 1936.
In terms of local currency the total visible trade of the Golon (excluding Treasure) increased by 26.0% in October, 1937 as com- pared with October, 1936, and by 25.5% in terms of sterling.
