FRANCO AGENTS LEAVE FOR LONDON

Paris, To-day. The agents who are to represent General Franco in England, have left for England, according to message from Salamanca.

The agents have been authorised to hand to the Duke of Alba, chief representative in England of Na- tionalist Spain, a document on the attitude of the Franco authorities to the question of foreign comba- tants in Spain.

The document is believed to state that General Franco is prepared to offer the British Government facili- ties as far as lies in his power for realisation of the plans for with- drawal of foreign volunteers. Trans-Ocean
