ULSTERS WOUNDED IN AIR QUEENS & ALHAMBRE OUTRAGE IN SHANGHAI

Shanghai, To-day.

Considerable indignation is felt in foreign cir- cles, particularly British, over the wanton and un- provoked attack by a Japanese plane in the British defence sector at Keswick Road yesterday after-

It is now reported that in addition to the kill- ing of one of the Ulster Rifles, another private was wounded.

A press report states that the Japanese plane first directed its fire at a body of about twenty riders, two of whom were women.

The official British statement on the affair states that four Chinese civilians were killed and six wounded.

Commenting on the incident, for- eign observers state there was not the slightest excuse for the Japan- ese airman's “mistake."

Jannings contracted a severt chill and his doctor has ordered him complete rest in hospital.
