BRITAIN'S POORLOG

PRESS IN SOUTH AMERICA

London, To-day.

Strong dissatisfaction with the manner in which British news is presented in South America, with! corresponding detrimental effects on British trade, was voiced at the meeting of the Associated British Chambers of Commerce at Manchester yesterday.

The subject was introduced with an array of facts and figures by Mr. C. S. Cruickshank, representing the British Chamber of Commerce in Brazil, who pointed out that Bri invested in South tish capital
