This is the considerable opinion of Dr. Ross A. McFarland, of Co- lumbia University, who in company with Dr. H. T. Edwards, of Har vard University, recently made a round trip flight across the Pacific and back in order to complete a series of studies on altitude effects. The series includes a study made over the Chilean Andes in 1935.
