LITVINOFF ONSLAUGHT ON FASCISTI POWERS

Geneva, To-day.

A fiery speech against the anti-Communist Powers was made yesterday by the Soviet Foreign Commissar, M. Maxim Litvinoff, in his first address before the League Assembly.

M. Litvinoff referred to those States which "use their struggle against Communism merely ás a pretext for intervention, economic aims and acts of violence."

He spoke of the "parrots in high positions," whose constant warnings to the world about the danger of Bolshevism do not become any the less ridiculous through endless repetition.

The League, he declared, should not delude itself into thinking that it can ward off attacks by endeavour- ing to co-operate with aggressors.
