The Iraqi delegate, addressing the League As- sembly regarding Palestine yesterday, complained of the grievous wrong done to Arabs in Palestine, who are haunted by the prospect of becoming a | minority in their own fatherland..

He added that any solution of partition being imposed without Arab consent, was doomed at the l'outset.

They could not admit that Palestine should be sacrificed and made an international problem to provide a solution for the domestic problems of other countries.

The position of Spain in the Nyon Agreement and the attitude of Italy in this connection, are be lieved to have been among the sub- jects discussed at a three-quarter of an hour talk between the Prime Minister, Mr. Neville Chamberlain, and the French Ambassador, M. Charles Corbin, at No. 10, Downing Street yesterday.

Italy's attitude is likely to be discussed by Mr. Chamberlain with the Foreign Secretary, Mr. Anthony Eden, when he returns from Geneva Reuter.
