The Chinese Government have instructed all Shanghai area-De-Doo consulates to arrange for the evacuation of all Chin- ese residents in Korea, totalling some 80,000 mostly of the labour class. Already approximately 4,500 have left, 3,000 are prepared to leave in the next two or three days and the Consul-General here has requested the Governor of Korea to place ships at the disposal of the Chinese refugees.
