The closing stage of the Zionist Congress was marked by a sharp disagreement, necessitating the postponement of the session.
According to the Jewish Telegraphic Agency, the extremist group and the anti-partition front were contemplating walking out of the hall in the event of the anti-partition resolution being reject- ed.
The moderate elements of the, anti-partition group, headed by the chairman, Mr. Ussishkin, however, oppose such a demonstration. The exact terras of the motion drafted by the resolutions committee has not yet been published, but it is understood they embody the princi- ples outlined în Dr. Weismann's mo-. tion on August 4 and in the Labour Party motion on August 8.
