WEEK'S INTERESTING PROGRAMME
Some very good swimming should be witnessed in the Victoria Recreation Club swimming pool this evening, when the Interport trials for the 220 Yards free-style and the 50 Yards free-style will be held, the first meeting this season between Wil- fred Lawrence and Norman Lee, in the former event, being the outstanding feature.
NORMAN LEE HAS NOT YET ESTABLISHED A REPUTA- TION FOR THE 220 YARDS EVENT AND ONE AND ALL CAN SAFELY LOOK FORWARD TO A LAWRENCE VICTORY, WITH EITHER NORMAN LEE. A. A.. DA ROZA OR ROBERT CHAN ~ OCCUPYING SECOND PLACE.
*Lawrence has barely recovered from some internal trouble and › may not be seen at his best, but the race should be a thrilling one, and, if Norman Lee is anything as good over this distance as he is over 100 Yards, there is no saying what will happen.
