FIVE KILLED IN TRIP OF NEW AIR LINE

Five-directors of a new Perta guese air line were killed yester day when making a propaganda fight.

The Japanese Naval Landing Party issued a atement this morning, declaring that the Peace reservation Corps were continuing to erect barri- des and to dig trenches round Shanghai and that they held extensive war manoeuvres yesterday.
Japanese residents have been warned not to go out at night owing to the danger of molestation.
The Chinese Maritimes Customs has issued a notice prohibiting the export of rice. →→Financial quarters are in a state of panic with indications of the inevitability of an outbreak of war and a serious crash occurred on the Stock Ex- change this morning.

CHOLERA CASE IN POLICE CELL
Discovery of a case of cholera in a cell at West Point Police Station caused swift measures to be taken to prevent the infection of contacts.
The victim was Chan Sang, an unlicensed hawker.
As a result of the case, five other hawkers, a beggar and three others detained for larceny were not taken to the Central Magistracy this morning on the advice Medical Officer
They were remanded for hours and are being treated.
Chan Sang was removed to the Queen Mary Hospital at 4.45 this morning and was later transferred to the Kennedy Town Hospital.
