It is reliably reported that the Nanking Gov- ernment has ordered 40 military aeroplanes to Lo- yang and five to Nanyuan, the headquarters of the 29th Route Army.

The Japanese allege that the despatch of planes to Nanyuan is a breach of the Ho-Umetsu agreement, although no protest has yet been lodg ed.

A message from Peiping says that several dis- turbances occurred within the walls of the city this morning between Chinese soldiers and Japanese residents.
