The motors have been ordered from Messrs. Sulzer Bros. at Winterthur and will enable the ship to develop a service speed of 21 knots, requiring 27,000 H.P.
With this fast ship a new type will enter the service to the Nether- lands Indies, as the service speed of 21 knots will enable her to sail in:
15 days from Genoa to Singapore. 16 days from Genoa to Batavia. The ship will accommodate:
1st & 2nd class 513; 3rd class 148, 4th class 52.
