LEADER ESCAPES WITHOUT INJURY
Lisbon, To day.
Dr. Antonio de Oliveira Salazar, Premier and virtual Dictator of Portugal, yesterday escaped an attempt on his life.
As he was about to enter the house of a friend a bomb exploded, damaging the pavement.
Dr. Salazar, Portugal's chief executive, who escaped uninjured when a bomb attack was made on him yesterday morning.
