INTERNATIONAL TRUSTS TO CONTROL ALL COMMODITIES

Interesting Suggestion At Berlin Conference

Berlin, To-day International Trusts, the status of subsidiary companies abroad, pro- blems of double taxation, distribution, transporta- tion and inland shipping, were the topics discuss- ed on the second day of the Congress of the In- ternational Chamber of Commerce.

M. Alois Meyer, managing director of the International Crude Steel Trust, said that negotiations were now going on between the Trust and the Bri- tish Government with a view to finding a solution for all out- standing questions.

The French delegate, M. Marlio, gave interesting details of the work of the Aluminium Trust, which he said was particularly concerned with safeguarding the interests of consumers.
