GERMAN WARSHIPS OFF DOVER Leipzig, Koeln and Destroyers Bound For Home
SIGN OF GERMANY'S GOOD FAITH
LONDON, TO-DAY.
THE GERMAN CRUISER LEIPZIG, ATTENDED. BY FOUR DESTROYERS, PASSED DOVER IN A HOMEWARD DIRECTION YESTERDAY.
This was evidently in accordance with the recent German explanation that German fleet movements off the Spanish coast were designed to re- lieve warships stationed for a long time in Spanish waters.—Reuter.
Trans-Ocean says that the cruiser Koeln accompanied the Leipzig and the four destroyers.
The London evening newspapers declare that this naval movement is a sure sign that the German Gov- ernment intends to uphold its pro- mise to refrain from taking any action against Valencia as long as no new complications occur.
