TRAGEDY
Mr. Charles E. Watson Killed In Early Morning FALL TO GROUND SHANGHAI MILK GERMAN CONSUL
FROM SECOND FLOOR WINDOW
A shocking tragedy in which a well-known Kowloon resident, Mr. Charles E. Watson, the pro- prietor of Brewers Bookshop, was killed, occurred this morning at about 4.30 a.m.
Mr. Watson fell from the second floor of No.
26, Carnarvon Road, where he resided, was rushed to hospital suffering from a fractured skull, and died soon after his admission.
A commotion caused by burglars is believed to have been the direct cause of the tragedy, though there is no direct evidence as Mr. Watson was re- siding alone.
