A fine story of heroism which followed the ex- plosion on board the destroyer H.M.S. Hunter on Thursday has just been revealed.

Central figure in the exploit was the Comman- der of the destroyer, Lieut. Commander B. G. Scur- field, who showed conspicuous bravery in the con- fused and anxious period which followed detona- tion of the mine.
